Product Description The illustrated Kershaw Knife is the Kershaw Emerson CQC-7K Knife, designed in collaboration with Emerson Knives, that features a 3.25″ modified tanto blade made of 8Cr14MoV stainless steel. The blade of this Kershaw knife has a two tone satin stonewash finish, a notched thumb ramp for secure grip, a thumb disk and a Wave for ambidextrous one hand opening and for open on withdrawal. The handle, 4.5″ closed, has a textured black G10 front scale, a bead blasted 410 stainless steel back scale, a frame lock and a lanyard hole. A side to side reversible pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Kershaw Knife. The Kershaw Emerson CQC-7K Knife has an overall open length of 7.75″, and it weighs 5.1 ounces. The blade has two finishes: a satin finish on the grind and a stonewashed finish on the upper. The handle’s front scale of textured G-10 offers a secure grip and the handle’s stainless steel back has a solid frame lock. The CQC-7K is a manual opener using either the thumb disk or the patented Emerson “wave shaped feature.” This opening feature enables the knife to be opened as it is removed from the pocket.
